Directory submission एक off-page SEO प्रक्रिया है। इसमें आपको किसी web directory की किसी खास श्रेणी (category) में अपनी site को जमा (submission) करता होता है। उदाहरण के लिए अगर आपकी tutorials से सम्बंधित वेबसाइट है तो आपको अपनी वेबसाइट को web directory की शिक्षा श्रेणी (category) में जमा (submission) करना होगा। कुछ web directories निशुल्क होती हैं और कुछ में आपको अपनी वेबसाइट जमा करने की लिए शुल्क देना होता है।
